This is a photo from pattern and texture but it is also a picture from the studio portraits the two photos were combined to create this photo. The photograph was a white balance of sunny and ISO of 200. The photo doesn't follow the rule of thirds. The picture expresses to me a story a person is reading as if it's a sneak preview into the book.

Photo 2
In this image you can see the upper portion of the models body. I positioned myself at an angle in front of the model. The lighting in the picture is dark in almost every aspect except for the models body. I chose to take the picture at this angle with the lighting reflecting onto the model to create the intense feeling the photograph gives off to the viewer. Since the photo has an excessive amount of negative space it causes the viewer to focus on the model. This photograph does follow the rule of thirds it also has a white balance of shade and an ISO of 250.
Photo 3 |
This picture was taken during the motion assignment to take this photo the camera was set to a high shutter speed. The ISO was set to 200 also with a white balance of sunny and a high shutter speed. I appreciate this photograph because it follows the rule of thirds and your eye is immediately drawn to the center of the pinwheel.
